Lena Bird ‘28 is majoring in Quantitative Social Science with minors in Public Policy and Spanish. Outside of the classroom, she dances with Sugarplum (a jazz and contemporary dance group) and is a DCSI Outdoor Leadership Experience mentor, a Rockefeller Center Public Programs Student Assistant, and a member of the Ledyard Canoe Club. This past summer, Lena interned at United Way, conducting policy research and data analysis to develop strategies protecting Medicaid and SNAP access in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
