

Jude Poirier is a sophomore at Dartmouth College studying Quantitative Social Science with a minor in Public Policy, where he was named a Jack Byrne Scholar of Mathematics. Professionally, Jude has interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia, supporting Assistant U.S. Attorneys in the Sex Offense and Domestic Violence Division, and at the Brookings Institution's Center on Regulation and Markets, where he contributed published research on AI regulation and federal trade policy presented at the 2026 Nomura Foundation Economics Conference. On campus, he serves as a Campus Scholar for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), focusing on free expression and administrative press policy, and leads a quantitative research project at the Rockefeller Center with findings presented at the Eastern Sociological Society Conference in 2026. His interests span constitutional law, civil liberties, and the intersection of quantitative methods and public policy. Outside the classroom, Jude can be found flatwater kayaking or competing in chili cookoffs.
