
Cooper Hyldahl ’26 is double majoring in economics and history modified with Asian studies, with a minor in international development policy. Cooper is a Dartmouth Economics Research Scholar and a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. He also serves as a research assistant at the Dickey Center for International Understanding. Beyond academics, Cooper is the First Squad Leader in the Army ROTC program, a War and Peace Fellow, and an executive on the Dartmouth Triathlon Team. Previously, he has worked as an Indo-Pacific Policy Intern at USAID, a Personnel and Readiness Intern at the Department of Defense, and a Global Development Policy Fellow at Save the Children. Cooper is currently a Defense Management and Capabilities Analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
